The Williams and Baudette Fire Departments, two Lake of the Woods Ambulances and Lake of the Woods Sheriffs Office are all responding to a house fire approximately one mile west of Williams this morning. We have received word from Sheriff Gary Fish that Highway 11 in that area is closed to traffic due to heavy smoke.
Members of the public are asked to stay clear of the area.
