The Walker County Sheriff’s Office stated on Facebook Thursday night that one person is dead after an active shooter situation near the Boldo community.
Deputies responded Thursday night to an active shooter call, according to a statement posted on Facebook by the department.
“A suspect was reported to have fired a weapon at a family member. One subject is now deceased,” the statement said. “The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is on the active scene to conduct an investigation.”
